The little boy, born in 2010, started fifth grade in 2021. Neither parent has ever been to school, and his father is a marabou, a local „scientist”, and his mother sells juice and bananas in the market. There are only two brothers left, the other children have passed away. They live in a rented room, food is not always on the table. Malick is a very helpful, hardworking boy, helping to carry water at home as there is only electricity in the house where they live. He helps a car mechanic, learns the profession, but says he wants to be a doctor. He loves to play football in his spare time, Real Madrid is his favorite team and Ramos is his favorite player. He has no school supplies, the family has no money for it. He has a brother from her mother’s previous relationship who will graduate in 2022, he helps him with his studies. Malick wants a football shoe (size 39 ) and a pair of goalkeeper gloves.
