What we do

Development projects

Classrooms are often overcrowded and it is not unusual to have 80 children in one classroom. Not only are children forced to sit five on a bench meant for two students but more importantly they do not get the necessary focus of the teacher. This does not help their development and they often struggle to stay committed to their learning. Studies have shown a clear correlation between school facilities and the learning results of children.

We want all children to be educated for life, in a safe and nurturing learning environment. We support schools practically and financially to improve their learning environment by implementing sanitation to improve hygiene, establishing libraries so students and teachers have access to books, and access to the internet so they can make use of technology and connect with the world.
