Mohamed Moro

The 14-year-old 6th grade boy lives in a family of five children. The father sells plants, his mother is a housewife. The family is very poor, they eat once a day. Mohamed loves to read; French is his favorite. He bets he’ll be a much better student than his brother, Aly, who dropped out of the program earlier because he failed. It is his duty to carry water home. Mohamed loves to play football, his favorite team is Barcelona and his favorite player is, of course, Messi. If he grows up, he will become a doctor.
