Korotoumou Doro

Born in 2017, Korotoumou is growing up in a family with seven children. The family lives together in a single rented room. Only her mother attended school, but she left after completing Grade 6. Her father is illiterate. Her parents place great importance on their children's education, but the family faces severe financial hardship. Her father works as a casual labourer on construction sites, while her mother takes occasional cleaning jobs. Even putting enough food on the table is often a challenge. Korotoumou enjoys going to school and is doing well in her studies. Her favourite subjects are art and technology. She also loves reading. At home, she helps with cleaning. Her favourite colour is yellow, and she dreams of becoming a police officer. According to her parents, Korotoumou is a hardworking, intelligent, bright, and respectful girl.
