Kadiatou Dembelé

Born in 2017, Kadiatou is growing up in a family with two children. The family lives in a single rented room. Only her father attended school, but he left after completing Grade 2. Her mother is illiterate. Although her parents place great importance on their children's education, the family faces significant financial challenges. Her father works as a tailor on an occasional basis, while her mother is a homemaker, and there are times when it is difficult to provide enough food for the family. Kadiatou enjoys going to school and is an excellent student. She is the top student in her class. Her favourite subjects are French and reading. At home, she helps with cleaning and assists her father by selling clothes at the market. Her favourite colour is yellow, and she dreams of becoming a doctor. According to her parents, Kadiatou is a hardworking, intelligent, bright, and respectful girl.
