Born in 2010, fourth-grader Aminata lives with her relatives in a rented room. His parents and 3 brothers live in the countryside. The father sells small things in the market, the mother is a housewife, neither parent went to school. Only she goes to school, the others have dropped out. She has a blind uncle at home who speaks excellent English, he studied at the institute for the blind here in Bamako. Notebooks come out of a ragged red backpack, she has a French textbook. Aminata is a very good student with an average of 8/10! There is not enough food in the family, they often only eat leftovers from the neighbors, usually they only eat once a day.
