The organisation of day trips aims to broaden the children's general knowledge. We set easily accessible destinations, such as zoos, museums, botanic gardens etc. It also serves to reward students who study well.

 

In 2019 we financed the visit of the Bamako Zoo for all our sponsored children and the best 10 students of each class. That meant close to 150 children visiting the local zoo! 

 

In 2022 the students of Newill Academy visited the local bead producing association Krobodan, to learn about beads and the local profession of bead making.
